Say Hello to Petite League
You may or may not remember a post I made about a year ago featuring up and coming indie band Spark Alaska. Since that time, founding member Lorenzo Cook has parted ways with his old project and created a new entity known as Petite League. In comparison to the old work, the new project is less in the singer/songwriter vein and is a more focused, pop themed style. While it is fairly simple and low on production quality, the driving chorus and slick little guitar licks throughout create a memorable basement pop experience. Stay tuned as we get more information about a possible new EP in the works.

As I’m sure many of you know by now, we are sent tons of music on the regular and much of it will never make its way to this site. Then that rare tune hits the inbox and we’re reminded why we do this in the first place. This inspiring track called “Little Ears”, from Syracuse based
