New Road Trippin’ Tune From Suburban Living

So as I was saying yesterday with that sweet Summerays track, it’s never too late to sneak in a few more summer tunes before the season is over.  This summer themed tune “I Don’t Fit In” comes from Norfolk based group Suburban Living.  It feels like a great song to have on a playlist as you head out on the road westwards for your last few days of vacation.  You may remember that I posted up another new song from the band “Float in Clouds” earlier this summer.  Once again, a new EP entitled Cooper’s Dream will be available on July 31st.

New Cool Summer Tune From Summerays

Summer is almost over for everyone I guess, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy a few more summer themed tunes before the season is gone.  This new track “Toyohashi” from the aptly named group Summerays should definitely sneak its way into your last playlist before September hits.  You really get  all the elements of a great summer jam here with its twangy guitar, smooth beats, and overall breezy feel about it.  This song, and all Summerays’ tracks, are created by the talented 22-year old musician Luke Teeters.  At his young age, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more great things from him in the future.

If you’re enjoying this one, head to Cool Summer Records to purchase a 7″ vinyl copy with a sweet B-side to go along.

FT5: Music Fashion Accessories

We here at ATH hope that all of you had fun over the past 3 months soaking up the Vitamin D, getting wasted, and subsequently wreaking havoc across our city, but now it’s time to get back into the dreaded educational mentality. One of the truly great things about going to school is the first day. You’ll be meeting new people and making a good first impression is all it takes sometimes to get an excellent shot at a get-together with that certain someone you’re sure to see that day. Well, if music has taught me anything, musicians usually know how to dress to impress. I’m sorry to say it, but summer is over. Get some style for the new school year after the jump.
