Over the last couple of years, Sea Lemon has been a rising star in the scene; she’s popped up here on ATH and even the hitmakers over at GvsB have backed her work. Yesterday while we were filling kids with candy, she dropped a brand new treat, and you’ve got to slide right into this tune. It’s a style that will easily get filed under dream pop, playing adjacently to acts like Beach House or Winter, so you know the style is something built for us all. I love where voice hangs, just muddying it up next to the wash of slow churning percussion and synthetic washes; it kind of feels built for rainy days in the songwriter’s own Seattle.
