It always amazes me how we operate nowadays in the whole indie-sphere; we should be championing acts like Yea-Ming and the Rumours, so hopefully the few little words I pen could be enough to lift your ears to their delightful work. Their latest single almost feels like a dreamier version of the cabaret one would hear at the Copacabana; the nighttime imagery of the accompanying video incorporates that slight little pop twinkle into the sound. Yea-Ming’s playful vocal bounce on the rhythm is the perfect opiate for the listener, tying into the passionate themes portrayed in the lyrical content.
