Pulsating Pop from Terribly Yours

There’s something in the way the vocals are delivered in the opening moments of this new Terribly Yours track that drew me in. They’re almost smoky, as if you can hear the breath expiring as its released. While I enjoy a good vocal, I think the success in this song is offered via the songs soft then pulsing vibe, bringing in the beat slow and casual, right before it burst forth, aided by a cascading 80s guitar riff. After the success of A Bloom Beyond, it sounds like we’re gearing up for another release of future hits.

Pop Vibes from Terribly Yours

What makes a song explode in the interwebs? I’m not sure exactly what it is, but I think this number from Terribly Yours is one of those tunes that will get traction once it gets in the right hands. It’s relaxed in almost every way, but there’s this playful pop texture that seems to drive the tune forward. I actually love the guitar parts that are present when the vocals step aside for a moment, driving home the song’s emotional appeal. I can’t wait to hear the entirety of A Bloom Beyond, which will finally be released this Friday!

Poppy Terribly Yours Track

Not sure why more people aren’t taking a listen to this great new Terribly Yours track. It’s got everything you really need in a hit: hooks, electronic touches, solid melody. Honestly, this is the type of song that you find yourself putting on your favorite mixes, sharing it with friends…always bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Still no word from the buzzworthy artist on when we’ll get an official release, but if it’s filled with hits like these, it’s going to be hard to turn away from anything done with this project.
