The Fours Share New Single
The Fours popped up on my radar earlier this year as they prepared the release of Misadventure. But, having just dropped that LP a few months ago, they’re already back with a brilliant bit of rock n’ roll for you to consume. This tune seems like it’s a study on early Jonathan Richman; it’s a no-frills rock approach, just driving heavy rhythms through your speakers, with a sort of updated feel to it. Something in the vocals still holds onto that pop sentiment, never straying too far from the song’s center. If you like your jams steady, catchy and cool, then you’re going to want to keep an eye out for the group’s new LP Shaking and Moving, coming soon via World of Birds Records.
Happy Monday! Man, we covered a ton of ground last week, and I’m super stoked with the songs we squeezed into this playlist…and for the first time all of them are available on one streaming platform.
