More New Music from Cerise
At this point, we’ve almost had enough singles from Cerise to get the feeling of her forthcoming album, but I think the below tune is definitely one that holds to what I’m looking for from her. She’s got this sultry smokiness to her voice; it rests on the cusp of the main mix. Musically, the song’s got this darkened edge of indie rock; I feel like it could almost be considered creative noise, were the levels a bit louder and not contrasting with Cerise herself. She’s releasing Smoke Screen Dreams on June 24th, so you’ve got enough time to look into her before grabbing the LP.
