Tonight we’ll be DJing at one of our favorite local spots, and maybe behind the bar will be a certain guitar player from Touch Girl Apple Blossom…and maybe I’ll have their new LP on hand, and in that, maybe you’ll get to hear this new single that popped up the other day. While the first couple of singles from Graceful have offered a spritely brand of indiepop, this tune shares a more complex brand, still holding tight to the sunshine of their sound. The accompanying video is filled with footage from the group’s recent Spring tour with Good Flying Birds. You’ll be able to officially hear the band’s work when they drop Graceful via K/Perennial on May 15th.

If you were anywhere near the musical interwebs last week, then you were given a lot of gifts; there was new music from the likes of Six Organs of Admittance, Camera Obscura, Ducks Ltd and more…all of which feature in this rendition of Last Week’s Jams. It was a pretty solid week for the ATX too, with new music from Water Damage, Holy Wire, Broken Gold…plus a Touch Girl Apple Blossom video from their latest EP.
