Premiere: My Son Bison Release “XV”
I’m a sucker for well orchestrated indie rock, particularly the sort that uses a piano line for the backbone. This new tune from My Son Bison fits perfectly into that mold, and I adore the way they’ve managed to flesh out the song; they add touches of trumpet, classical guitar and just the right touch on the cymbals. It makes the song rise, even when the vocals seem to hold the track steady. Speaking of the vocals…such a wonderful voice here, soaring with such warm tones. Look to find more beauty within the confines of their debut, Two Faces and a Vase, released this month…with a run of East Coast dates to celebrate.
