Throwing Muses to Release Purgatory/Paradise via HHBTM

Purgatory/Paradise saw a limited CD release last year, which earned Throwing Muses some incredible press. But, with the CD medium not always reaching all the corners of the world, HHBTM Records has opted to release the full length via vinyl and cassette. The song below is one of the main singles from the band, so why not revisit for a taste of what you’ll get when you, undoubtedly, pick up your own copy. Kristin Hersh sounds as confident and strong as she ever has, and that goes for the whole album, not just this track. You’ll definitely want to take a listen if you haven’t already.

Ramesh The King LP Release – TODAY!!! Album Stream

For a kid born and raised in Austin, there are a handful of bands that hold a great deal of meaning to my life, at least in regards to growing up. Voxtrot is one of those bands, so it has been an absolute pleasure for me to work with Ramesh, one of the main songwriters in the group. He quietly released The King digitally earlier this year, and we here at Austin Town Hall Records are releasing the album TODAY on vinyl. It’ll be at all your local shops, but you can also grab it from us online HERE. And, if you’re lucky enough to live here in Austin, Ramesh is playing his album release show at the Belmont on Thursday night with She Sir and Mahogany. It’s going to be a great night in honor of this great release. I hope to see you there, or ship you a record.

Austin Town Hall Records to Release Ramesh’s The King

For those of you who don’t remember Voxtrot, that’s completely okay, as the new album from Ramesh is far removed from those days. He’s spent some time gathering himself, musically speaking, and pouring out his soul into what we think is an incredible album, The King. It’s already gotten some love from P4K for its digital release, but all great records deserve a vinyl home, so we’re happy to announce that Austin Town Hall Records will be releasing The King this June. You have no idea how excited we are to be working with him, and in honor of this forthcoming vinyl release, we decided to give you a nice sneak peak via the single below. I’m pretty sure you’ll agree that this was a smart decision on our part. We’ll keep you posted with more on Ramesh’s touring plans and pre-order dates as that time draws near.
