Our friends over at Hidden Bay Records always release great pop music, and in doing so, they’ve always got their fingers on the pulse of what’s cool in France. But, little did I know they had long arms, stretching all the way to our hometown, Austin…as you’ll see in their latest release from the collab between Walk Home Drunk and Dirtpath. These four songs were recorded across the ocean, trading bedroom recordings back and forth until they reached their maximum potential. It’s a sound that certainly embraces that at-home recording feel, though you’ll hear songs like “Toulouse, TX” go beyond and provide sublime indiepop that rewards each time you press play.
