Skinny Dippers Share Breathe Single
I have been captivated by Ryan Gross and his Skinny Dippers project on multiple occasions in the past, and with a new single, it’s time we revisit his work. Today, the single at hand has some ties to Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief, who touched on the track during the School of Song project; you can hear the little trinkets of Adrianne in the style, but the song only comes alive when the whole band brings in their arrangements. The banjo, for instance, is subtle, but gives a little bit of depth so the whole of the tune gets its fishhooks in you.
