Great Jam from The Intelligence
For months I’ve waited for the official word on the newest record from The Intelligence, one of my favorite acts. Luckily, the album came my way last week, and now I get to share with you one of the reasons I’m so excited for you to hear Everybody’s Got It Easy But Me; it hits stores on June 19th via In the Red. It’s a rambunctious jittery rocker with a discordant guitar chord that rings in the background throughout. If you get your hands on the whole album you’ll also realize that this band’s got a knack for writing hooks within the realm of arty guitar rock.

on your recommendation I bought the (yellow) vinyl of the song. thanks
Smart move! I did the same.
Driving in from Houston on a weeknight to see Real Estate was the smartest music choice we’ve made this year – it was fantastic and led me to discover your awesome blog when I googled reviews. You have great taste in music, write very interestingly and intellligently and are way ahead of the curve on new stuff. I think my fav recommendation (so far) is the Allah Las…WOW!! Bought their vinyl too. Tell Me is such a perfect song and the Nick Waterhouse video is, IMO, one of the best looking videos of all time. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! Gone Gonen Gone is a great song/vidoe too. Iam gonna stay busy in your archives! Have a great week!
