Do512 did a good thing and hired a friend of the program. Formerly at Emo’s, Ross is good people and he was nice enough to invite me and the cameras over to one of the live sessions they have at the offices. This sessions artists were Riverboat Gamblers and then one of my personal favorites Black Joe Lewis. To see both in a tiny room, bonus.

Riverboat Gamblers need to work on their live performance energy level. #sarcasm Mike Wiebe and the 512 dog played catch mid-set, but was obscured from my camera. Bummer.

Black Joe Lewis is dynamic. My Austin blues money goes to him before Gary Clark. Love the guy, so laid back when not performing, very in it but effortless when on stage. Didn’t hear the new jam.

So RSVP, wristband, cold beer, two cameras and some friendly faces all combined into a nice little Tuesday evening. Thanks Deep Eddy, Shiner and Do512.
