New Track from Porches

The last month has been pretty kind to New York’s Porches, garnering a strong positive response with their early single.  They’re back already with the newest tune from their upcoming album, Slow Dance in the Cosmos.  For my ears, this song has two personalities, both equally enjoyably.  The first is sort of an amped up sad-bastard approach to pop structure; it slowly builds until the change up. It’s brief, but there’s a bouncing step that comes in a couple of times in the track. I like that it gives a different touch, though slight, to the song’s overall feeling.
