Sorry I Missed This: New Paperhead Tune
It seems to me like The Paperhead of this great ability to always weave new influences in sounds into their works, yet still sound roughly the same. Â Just a week or so back, they tossed up this brand new track, and it’s definitely filled with more of a 60s vibe. Â But, that style was always in their songwriting, it just lurked in the shadows, hanging out behind the reverb and psychedelic touches. Â Aside from the lasers fighting off the martians in the background, this new tune has a bit more of a straightforward approach. Â I’ll be interested in what they have to offer on their new LP, Africa Avenue, which Trouble in Mind Records is putting out on November 11th.
