Did You Check Out the Latest from Christina’s Trip

It’s super hard to keep track of the Oakland music scene, particularly as there are a handful of really incredible small labels keeping it real, such as Cherub Dream Records. Recently, the label did a 3-way 10″, and I’ve really been enjoying the track from Christina’s Trip; Mox and Natasha Sandworms also feature on the Lucky Three 10″. This one’s tough to really identify as to where the hook lives; I love the guitar sound that opens up the track, offering up this sort of jagged alt-rock blend of dream pop. But, that doesn’t mean we can dismiss the vocals, bringing in a really sugary softness that will make every moment on this track worth your time.
