New Music from Arjuna Genome

Sometimes we take for granted that music can provide catharsis to those who pen the tunes, but, in reading about the upcoming release from Arjuna Genome, Douglas Sweeney isn’t shying away from letting us know how personal his album is. The album, Cynthia, is composed entirely with thoughts of his deceased partner, Cynthia; it’s made up of songs that run like conversations he wishes he could have with her, words he wanted to share. Even in loss, Sweeney has managed to create something brave and beautiful to share with us all…here’s to hoping you’ll take a listen. Cynthia will be out on October 28th via Danger Collective.
