Peel Dream Magazine Offer Central Park West Video

As we’ve gone through the album cycle for the forthcoming Peel Dream Magazine LP, I’ve admittedly been on board, though knowing that those early singles were treading water in the band’s past. But, that stops now, with this airy new single that shifts the sound into something a little bit more ornate, almost theatrical in nature. Honestly, and perhaps I’m a bit jaded, but it feels like something one would claim as Sufjan adjacent, even down to the instrumentation and accompaniment…and while that might seem like a knock, there’s a brightness that turns in at 2:15 where the track gets an energetic lift to tether it to the earlier singles out there.
