Funx3 Fest is now over and we can all make our collective sad face to show our displeasure towards the situation. It was yet again a great weekend of music and fun was had by all. Prior to the weekend, we had the chance to sit down with Spanish pop band Delorean and talk a bit about their band. Leading up to Fun Fest next weekend, we decided to yet again get as many interviews on the site as humanly possible. We’ll begin this week with a sweet interview from hot indie band Best Coast. I first discovered David Bazan and his work in Pedro the Lion when I was just a young lad in my early high school years. I was always drawn to Bazan’s early post-emo work and have continued to follow his career for the last 10 years or so. Being such a big fan of his work in Pedro, Headphones, and now solo, I was pretty excited to land an interview with Bazan to preview his spot on the ACL festival roster this weekend.
