Athens based indie group Twin Tigers are giving away a new EP for free on their website. The band currently has just one other EP under the belt but they have been getting some crazy buzz in the internet world as of late. You probably know by now that if Daytrotter posts about one of our favorite bands AND they play unreleased material, you can expect to see it on the ATH. That’s just what we got in this recent live set by White Rabbits and we couldn’t be more excited. The new album Songs About People I know from British band Stricken City drops tomorrow on Kora Records and we’ve got a last minute preview before you go out and buy it. This new single is called “Small Things” and highlights some of our favorite things about the band. Think a little bit Yeah Yeah Yeahs mixed with some British fuzz guitar.

Finally. After a long and patient (sort of) wait, Yeasyer are ready for us to hear new music from their highly anticipated sophomore effort. This new single is called “Ambling Alp” and will appear on the band’s upcoming LP Odd Blood. The new album will be made available on Feb. 19th on Secretly Canadian. Way back in February we told you about a new song & video from Drew Danburry about Artex, the “stupid horse” from Never Ending Story. Well now Drew is back and he has a new EP called Geraniums which you can download for free (go here and look towards the bottom right under free album downloads). You can also check his free downloads page for some other free tunes that should brighten your day. Here’s one from the new EP called “Lynette, I Love you” which features Drew’s usual silly lyrics and catchy pop stylings. Once it gets inside your head, you won’t be able to get it out.
