…and it is beauty of despair, hope and vulnerability. The Twlight Sad’s full length release due March 27th, the first in seven years, is titled IT’S THE LONG GOODBYE. I hope this isn’t actually agoodbye. Where else will we get this mix of noise, layering, strength and sadness? “Attempt A Crash Landing – Theme” starts quitely and then unleashes the noisiest riff of the three tracks released, so far, all the while striking a balance with elegant synth flourishes and strings that haunt.
On the topic of the album, James says, I want to be a relatable person that talks about things that can happen and give an opportunity for people to go, well, youre not alone. I want people to be able to listen to this record and hear that it comes from a place of raw emotion. The album is an opportunity to share my experience and move forward with my life. Yep.
