New Music from Trans Upper Egypt
Local Austin label Monofonus Press is always pretty reliable when it comes to releasing new tunes, and their latest signing is pretty spot on. The band is a Roman act by the name of Trans Upper Egypt, and they’ve built quite a name for themselves working DIY style overseas. You’ll hear a huge buzz coating the track, supported by some great drum work that often seems about to run right off the rails. Guitars will screech and swirl from the sides, helping to wrap up the vocals in a nice little cocoon of cacophony. Look for their self-titled album on November 4th.
