Want to enjoy some of the best bands Austin has on hand right  now?  Then you’ll need to make your way over to Beerland this evening, and be sure to get there early, as you’ll want to catch our favorite, John Wesley Coleman, the “trashcan troubadour.”  But, more importantly, you’ll get to fill the evening with Simple Circuit and A Giant Dog, two of the harder working bands in town, delving out their own blend of rock n’ roll.  I have nothing to say other than these are some of the bands that I could easily watch every weekend, and you should come join me in the fun.

It’s time once again friends for another Rumble down under at Beerland in Austin Texas on Wednesday night.  Our lineup this time around is stacked with some local talent in the form of Bridge Farmers, The Pons, and Leatherbag.  We have been into all three of these bands for quite some time and feel like some of you need to get on board quick like.  Also don’t forget that this event is totally free so you really have no reason not to be there.

Local Austin rock band The Zoltars are having themselves a 7″ release show at Beerland on Saturday night.  Joining the guys on stage are fellow up and comers How I Quit Crack, Air Traffic Controllers, Roo, and These Are Words.  That’s a pretty hefty lineup for a very small door charge.  What else are you gonna be doing on Saturday night?  Nothing!

Fun Fest After Shows (11/5 – 11/7)

The weekend is almost here ladies and gentleman and we here at ATH couldn’t be more excited for Fun Fest than we are right now!  Sometimes we’re pretty worn out after a full day of music, but we realize some of you crazy kids party late into the night after the festival days.  Those of you looking for after shows, or those of you not attending Fun Fest and just looking for some solid music to check out, can see below for an after party list.  We’ve got a couple recommendations for each night that should ease your hunger for live music.  Follow the jump for more.
