Bingo Boys Release Freak Out & Leave, Share Stuck

Sometimes you just need your hair blown back by a furiously paced track, and there aren’t a whole lot of bands doing it better than the Bingo Boys. They’ve just dropped Freak Out & Leave, drawing comparisons to bands like the Spits, likely owing to that darkly tinged punk that kicks the track into gear. While I’m on board with that, I appreciate how things open a slightly poppier feel as the vocals push the pace too, all the way to the howl just before the 1 minute mark. Quick and punchy, give the tune a listen then dive into the rest of the record!

Last Week’s Jams (2.13 – 2.17)

We’re not sure if you’re off or not for President’s Day, so we wanted to make sure those stuck in an office, or just browsing the Internet at home caught on to what we dished out last week! Ryan premiered a fresh track from Slow Fiction, plus he was able to get some SXSW coverage up via interviews with Dream, Ivory and Free Range. I was stoked to hear our friends Lola Tried return, plus I loved that new track from Ghosts on TV; the new stuff from Dry Cleaning and Lunar Vacation wasn’t bad either. Plus, there were lots of weirdo bits in between like Monde UFO and Swim Camp too! Oh, and did you see the IT Department was back on the grind with some Orbital coverage? Yep, stream away friends.

Bingo Boys Drop Donuts

Seeing as its the middle of the week, figured we needed a good kick in the rear to get us underway, and what better way than this fresh track from Indianapolis outfit, Bingo Boys. Greeted with a wall of feedback, the band burst right forth delivering this pummeling barrage of hurried punk; the guitars alone feel like they’re angry engines rushing down the highway, ripping through your speakers as they go. Just as quickly as you dive into this tune, it draws to a close. But, then we’re left here to wait for their new album, Freak Out and Leave, dropping later this year.
