Energetic Number from Delsbo Beach Club

I’ve been hyping Delsbo Beach Club since their creation it seems, and with their new EP on the horizon, I’m going to keep pushing you their way. Their latest single opens up with this slinky bounce, almost as if they’re channeling Madness…only in a more frantic fashion. Then the song takes on this gritty beach vibe, perhaps akin to recent stuff from Growlers. All of that gets woven around a tight rope of pop sensibility, executed in under 2 minutes so you can easily hit play and start all over again. At the end of the month, the band’s new EP drops via Rama Lama Records.

New Music from Delsbo Beach Club

Still playing a little catch up after being out and about all last week, and of course I’m going to slide right back into the world of Delsbo Beach Club. They seem to have crafted the perfect vibe for the rest of this Monday, giving us a pop song with just enough fuzzy edges to make us swoon. The song carries through with this natural bounce that’s gives seems to match the way the vocals come out, hopping along through the verses with melody hitting at the chorus, swelling as it crests through your speakers. They’ve got the new A Burger in Akersberga EP coming on April 26th via Rama Lama, so slide into these Monday vibes.

New Number from Delsbo Beach Club

Having already reached our radar with previous singles, its only fitting that Delsbo Beach Club make it back on the site before the year is up. The Swedish outfit seems like they’d just come in real quick, hit you over the head with insatiable licks, then lurk off back to their home. But, as this tune can attest, they’re willing to hang about, playing with traditional formats to really let the listener have something to sink their teeth into whilst jamming out. I love the emphatic close to this, completed contrasted with the song’s slinkily playful opening. This tune will appear on the group’s new EP, dropping via Rama Lama Records in 2019!

Poppy Surf from Delsbo Beach Club

Delsbo Beach Club are bringing in precisely what one would expect from the band’s name; they offer a poppy take on that Cali style beach vibe. Except, this group hails from Sweden, which is perhaps why there’s a dominating pop sensibility that runs throughout the tune. The vocals have a bit of distorted effect, which effectively encourages the ears to come closer to the speaker. With that, you’ll find a natural spring to your step created by delectable guitar notes. In the chorus there’s a slight turn away from the beach to a more intimate croon; it’s a swing of sorts, crafted in an indiepop manner. This single is full of promise, and it’s available now via Rama Lama Records.

Enjoy a Pop Tune from Delsbo Beach Club

Delsbo Beach Club are hitting me hard, taking modern indie fascination with that slightly dreamy guitar, but also bringing in the appropriate dosage of indiepop grooves. It has this natural swagger to it, taking all comers of pop music under its wings. The vocals have a certain distance from the listener, almost an echo, encouraging you to turn the volume up just a wee bit higher. That’s a good thing, so dance uncoordinatedly about while the guitar jabs angularly and the synths wash over your spirit. Pretty solid introduction to one of Stockholm’s hottest acts; look for future releases, including this single, from Rama Lama Records.
