Generifus Readies Rearrangel, Shares Glass House

I feel like it may have been a minute since we got a full release from Spencer Sult’s project, Generifus; it looks like that’s all about to change with the announcement of Rearrangel, a brand new collection of tunes. I’m totally in love with the guitar sound here, particularly in the way the notes seem to sort of climb their way down a steep set of steps on a ladder; it gives the song this sort of pastoral feel, something that almost feels like its been farmed from the grounds of Olympia (Sult’s home). Big fan of this one, so keep an eye out for Rearrangel, out June 2nd via Anything Bagel/Bud Tapes.

New Electro Pop From Post War Years

This new catchy tune “Glass House” from UK kids Post War Years has perked up my ears this morning.  Something about it just scream British electro-pop in the same vein as ATH favorite Foals.  If nothing else, it’s got a great backing beat that might get a party started in the office.  Stay tuned for the release of the new EP from Post War Years, Glass House, which is due out July 23rd on Chess Club Records.
