Swedish duo Baula have been working pretty hard to get folks into their new release Heavy Heart, No Tears. Personally, I’ve really dug the way they feel like a dark wave version of the Raveonettes; they carry the same cinematic nature in their presentation, while operating as a duo with driving guitar lines could also be apt areas of comparison. In this tune, Karolina’s got some angelic turns of tone throughout this song that take it from dreamy to almost fragile, and those slight turns added in this layer of tension that gets ridden out through the end of the tune.
