Hopefully you’ve had a second to breather after free week, but it’s about time we all get right back at it.  Luckily, if you’re looking for things on the cheap, there’s a great rock n’ roll show over at Beerland featuring some of our favorite acts, Holy Wave and Eets Feats.  Both bands are really starting to make a name for themselves by working hard and playing about town as much as possible.  They’ll be joined on stage by Classy Nude and Loteria…and Beerland always has cheap booze, so get out there and rock it out.  You’ll love me for it the next day.

It’s that time again for another Rumble in Austin at Beerland on Wednesday night.  This time we’ve got some great local acts in the form of ATH fave She Sir, Holy Wave, and The Low Lows.  As always the event is totally free and features some of the best talent we have to offer in our little town.  We also here that attendees will be treated to some awesome beer specials featuring PBR.  Be there or be square.

New Music From Holy Wave

Austin’s own Holy Wave have asked us to share this new track “Best Friends” coming out this week as a single.  The tune’s sort of a psych-rock garage inspired number that shows a lot of promise for this up and coming band.  If you’re feeling it like we are, you can pick up a physical copy of this one and another new tune from the band on their new start up label Fungal Hunger.  It’s a great time for new music in Austin.

Show Preview: English Teeth @ Parish (12/16)

Promising Austin band English Teeth have a show planned at The Parish on Thursday night to celebrate the release of their third new EP this year.  Joining the trio on the inside stage are fellow local up and comers Holy Wave, Eric Brendo, and Silver Ships.  Those interested in seeing The TEEF, as they call themselves, can expect a set time of around 11:15 pm.
