Mo Dotti Announces Opaque LP
Surely the cool kids from yesterday were aware of Mo Dotti’s announcement about their forthcoming Opaque LP. There are tons of reasons for it to pop up (a day late) over here on ATH: the song rips, our friend Joe is helping spread the word, and old ATH (former ATX) pal Joey Oaxaca did the recording. So, here we are, better late than never encouraging you to just press play, then turn that volume up a notch or two. A pulsating wall of psychedelic screeching greets you, pulling on some of those late acidpop tones, and yet they pull all that back top open the curtain on a beautiful ray of melody. Even with the pleasant nature, you can still hear the angst of the guitars working in the distance, dropping off the perfect juxtaposition like it was no big deal.
