Eades Deliver Another Hit

Our pals in Leeds based band Eades have been hard at work this past year having released several singles and their impressive debut EP, Microcosmic Things. Though it’s been a creative and productive year for the group, they aren’t quite done yet with this new single called “Forgive my Mind” coming out today via Bam Bam Records. It is yet again a display of true slacker rock but with super tight instrumentation, interesting guitar leads, and the always steady rhythm section. If you don’t know about the band, you should check them out now.

Eades Share Vivid Dreams

Leeds outfit Eades are a few weeks away from the release of their debut EP, and with that, they’ve tossed out one final single to entice your ears. For me, I gravitated immediately to those sharp edged guitar chords; it’s that sort of angular cut that reminds you of bands like B Boys or Omni. But, what I love about this bunch is how they kind of pull back the covers to reveal a more subtle approach, pacing themselves with a steady vocal delivery that kind of glues everything in the track together. Jittery and calm all at once…a twist I admittedly hadn’t expected here. Looking forward to Microcosmic Things dropping on July 10th.

Check This New Eades Tune

I’m so stuck on this brand new track from Leeds outfit Eades that I just had to share it with you all. Imagine falling in love with a band like Omni, then taking those angular little guitar notes and turning them into a softened smoother pop jam? Sounds pretty good, right? But, just because they’ve kind of polished the edges, doesn’t mean there’s still not a great urgency in the rhythm section to drive the bop feel home for listeners. I felt like the chorus also gave a nice little reflective pause that made the song supremely endearing. They’ll release Microcosmic Things on July 10th via Bam Bam Records.
