Impressive New Track From Mr. Gnome

To put it bluntly, Mr. Gnome lost me a little bit with some of their new material after a promising beginning to their career. That said, this new song “Sleepwalker” is yet again delivering on what I originally found interesting about the group. It starts off a little slow, and then builds and grows into this impressively mesmerizing pop themed number. Give it a whirl and treat yo self.

Mr. Gnome will be releasing this track on a new 7″ coming out June 16th. Pre-order here.

Mr. Gnome is a great up and coming band that I caught during SXSW last year, and I can honestly say that they can fully deliver in the live setting. Those looking to get a good show in before the craziness of this weekend ensues should head on down to the indoor stage at Stubbs on Thursday to see this rocking good band live. Local upstarts The Baker Family will be more than adequate in providing your opening support for the evening. You’ll enjoy it.

Quite awhile ago we brought you a new song from Cleveland based band Mr. Gnome. Well today we’ve got another new song from the band entitled “The Way” which appears on a new digital 7″ single from the band due out March 20th on El Marko Records. After jamming the bands debut LP Madness in Miniature for the last several months, and now this sweet jam, it’s time you start giving this band some of your attention. They’ll also be in town for SXSW in a couple weeks so be sure to make your calendars if you dig the tunes.

A band I’ve really taken a liking to this year, Mr. Gnome, are making a stop into town this evening for one of the final shows ever at Emo’s. Providing support for the evening is The Baker Family. I’ll be honest here and say that I had never really come across Cleveland’s Mr. Gnome prior to a few days ago. Since then, I’ve been enjoying their sort of spastic style indie rock music featured on their upcoming LP Madness in Miniature due out October 25th.
