InnerInnerLife Prep IfOnly

Before you settle into your day, you’re best served with a pleasant sit outside, soaking in the world around you while you sip your tea or coffee, and with that, you might just like some light accompaniment, the sort innerinnerlife is providing on their latest single. The Polish artist crafts really delicate ambient pop, and when he slips into the vocal work on this tune, the casual cool makes some references to any number of electronic indie acts (though I hear bits of Radio Dept). It’s a pensive piece, and one that allows you just let your mind get swept away, where anything goes and nothing else matters but the moment. If Only. Thew new LP, IfOnly is out on November 7th.

March Dove Share Skyfalling Single

When this single from Polish bunch March Dove made its way over, I was captured by the growl of the guitar; it felt like it had its own story to tell, so when the vocals came in atop, the track sort of just gripped me. I thought they could have happily stayed in the dream pop realm, albeit the darker side, but they opted to embrace the shoegaze with this forceful blast of noise. The song recedes momentarily, though the group bring it all back, tackling noisier territory that echoes throughout as the song carries on, lost in its own striking world.

Bagdad Drop Somewhere Nowhere Single

There aren’t too many Polish bands breaking across the pond, but Bagdad has some really rewarding sounds that you’re going to love. There are elements of Nirvana Unplugged in some of the rising vocal tones, and I’m thinking of “Jesus Dont…,” but maybe that’s just. my ear. Still, the slow-burning growl of the guitar sound does feel nostalgic in every sense, though with it, there’s a sweetened chorus awaiting listeners, ready to highlight just how much the band adore layering their sound with hooks. Cool vibes are your thing, so be sure to look for their They Don’t Know EP, which drops on March 27th via Rite Field Records.

Bones Garage Share I’ve Loved Video

Hopefully you recall last year’s Oi Ma Yeah, the Bones Garage LP we helped put out into the world (listen here) because it was an excellent pop record, perhaps overlooked by folks in the US. But, the Tel Aviv act is back again this year with Poland, another LP we’ll have a hand in getting out to the masses. Today, they share “I’ve Loved,” which is perhaps one of the more striking songs on the new record; it’s a song all about loving everyone you encounter, despite not loving yourself enough. The video, like the song, is stripped down, focusing entirely on Ariel as she shares her song with you. Let’s hope you’re all paying attention this round, as the group is phenomenal and we’re super happy to have a small hand in sharing their music with you.

Trupa Trupa Offer Heavy New Single

Go ahead and name me another band you know from the port Polish town of Gdansk. You can’t? That’s what I thought. Well Gdansk based Trupa Trupa are here to put their town on the map with some solid, and heavy music. Latest single, “To Me”, starts a bit slow, but eventually erupts about a minute in with some of the crunchiest bass lines I’ve ever heard. Bright guitars and somewhat hushed vocals play off the heaviness from the bass to create a powerful track. Check it out below.

Trupa Trupa will release The Quietus on October 27th via Blues Tapes/X-Ray Records & Ici D’ailleurs.
