I honestly do not know too much about Dazey, but I’ll acknowledge that their blend of emo and pop punk has scratched the perfect itch as I cranked this tune up real loud. You’ll certainly hear a lot of the touchstones of the genres, whether that’s from the vocals or the rush of energy as the track gets going. But, what I’m drawn towards are those moments in the track when one can feel their body giving in, and just letting go; they’ve got such great musicianship that the breakdowns, even on the recording, urge your body to move as the drums thunder and the guitars noisily swirl.
