Fresh Track from Racing Heart (ft. Jenny Hval)
Having Jenny Hval involved in this tune should be enough to garner your attention…or at least a preliminary listen. But, you’ll find that you keep coming back to the track for it’s lyrical lifting from CIA covert ops manuals…and then just the song itself. Hval is a perfect counterbalance to the voice of Mathias Tjonn, or Racing Heart; she’s got an angelic pitch working against his deepened warmth. As the song unfolds, production picks up just enough to build the emotional aspects within the confines. This song will fit into his new LP, What Comes After, which is being released by Misra Records on September 16th.
