New Radar Bros Tune

News leaked a few weeks ago that Radar Brothers would be releaing their eighth album, appropriately titled Eight, which will be released on January 29th via Merge Records.  Our first listen gives off a dark ray of hope, with the band crafting well-orchestrated arrangements around a ringing discordant guitar.  The deep tone of the vocal has always been something that’s attracted me personally, so having it slowly drawn out through the track prepares me for another winning record from the group.

The Radar Brothers are back in business this year with their newest album The Illustrated Garden having already hit shelves earlier this year.  Now the guys are on tour in support and making an anticipated stop at The Mohawk on Wednesday night.  Joining the band are our very own dirty/indie/pop group Pink Nasty.  Not sure about cover charge, but it should be relatively cheap.

New Music From Radar Brothers

radarbros_andrew_youssef_loAfter taking a short hiatus and re-working their lineup, Radar Brothers are returning in 2010 with a new album.  The joint is to be called The Illustrated Garden and hits stores March 23rd on Merge.  First single from the upcoming LP is featured below.  It’s a sweet lil’ pop jam that should brighten your day.
