ACL Interviews: MGMT
During ACL weekend, we met up with Ben and Andrew of MGMT to ask them a few questions about life and music. Full interview can be read after the jump.
This is fine.

Radiohead has announced that they will be webcasting the last show of their American tour in Santa Barbara. I’m sure most of you have seen Radiohead live (and if you haven’t here’s your chance), so this is a must see. Visit the official Radiohead site for more details.
If you’re like me and can’t really justify spending all that money to fly out to Chicago this weekend, you can catch most of Lollapalooza live on the Lollapalooza website. A lot of the mid-range acts from the festival will also be seen at our little ACL festival later in September. Maybe that will make your schedule planning a bit easier? I suggest tuning in first thing tomorrow at 12:15 for the Holy F*ck set. C3 also somehow landed Radiohead AND Rage Against the Machine as headliners but couldn’t get either for ACL. I suggest checking those two out. See the schedule for the event on the festival website. You can also download an mp3 from each artist playing this weekend on a Lollapalooza mix created on Stereogum.
The boys that brought you Done Waiting now have their own record label called Sunken Treasure Records with a brand new digital download store. So what, you ask? Well, they have the latest release from Miranda Sound as a pay what you want download. Head to their digital store and get your Radiohead like downloading on. They also have Miranda Sound’s last album Western Reserve as a completely free download on their main site. Of course we have for you a song on their newest album that you can check out if you just really can’t decide on parting with that precious $1 you’ve been saving.

Girl Talk’s new Album Feed the Animals is available today on The Illegal Arts website. Girl Talk decided to follow the Radiohead formula and let fans pay what they want for the new album. I say start your weekend early with the DJ stylings of Girl Talk.
