The Cloak Ox Release New Single
I think if you mention the name of Tunde Adebimpe of TVOTR then people are going to immediately get excited. But, I think that’s probably not entirely fair to the Cloak Ox; their latest single is beautiful on its own, right down to the last detail. The percussive element has tribal roots, although I think the vocals and the rest of the song definitely have hints of Dirty Projectors construction within the walls. It’s all made up for an interesting sound that should help you take your mind into the weekend. The band’s debut album, Shoot the Dog, will be out on September 17th via Totally Gross National Product.
