The Teen Age Pay Homage in New Video

Brooklyn based band The Teen Age has always been a sort of throwback style band offering up hits similar to The Strokes or The Ramones. Embracing their sound and image, the boys have released this new video for one of their most recent singles “Backwards”. The video is essentially a shot for shot remake of a scene from the classic 1979 film Rock n Roll High School starring The Ramones. A killer song now has a video to go with it. Don’t forget to pick up The Teen Age’s latest EP Bad Seed now on Papercup Music.

Swinging Pop Ditty from The Teen Age

I’m in serious need of a pick me up today, as I spent my sleeping time rocking to the Terry Malts. So I’ve turned to The Teen Age, who have just been prepping the release of a new 7″ via Paper Cup Music. I like the way the guitars are being used here, not to mention the sort of classic doo-wop sound in the vocals; it’s definitely making me nostalgic for sitting around the house rocking with my mom’s tape collection. Anyways, just dug this track, so I figured I’d share it with you all. Here’s to the weekend.
