Merce Lemon Shares Crow Single

If you ever just wanted to be emotionally crushed by a song, then you’re going to need to listen to the latest single from Merce Lemon; there’s this huge wall of frailty that seems to hang on every note from Merce’s mouth. Each syllable seems as if it could crumble to dust and be carried off into the wind, though they’re constantly tethered to the electrifying guitar solos that course throughout the tune. Eventually it all gets rolled into one giant ball of cacophony and beauty, swirling together like some magical cocktail that’s best drunk next to your love in a secret crypt, both of you being crushed by the sheer majesty of this single. Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild is out on Darling Records on September 27th.

Check Merce Lemon’s New Video

We’ve been on the Merce Lemon for some time now, and she’s finally getting some deserved attention, with this new single/video only reinforcing our belief in her songwriting. This new single offers the stark fragility that make, especially in the way the first three minutes are built up here. But, much like the first single from the new record, there’s this moment of noise, almost coming out of nowhere, hinting at the group sound folks will likely get when they jump in the van to tour behind Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild. Another stellar tune from the record; it drops on September 27th via Darling Records.

Merce Lemon Shares Backyard Lover Video

We’ve had Merce Lemon high on our radar for some time here at ATH, and with her most recent work, it seems like the rest of the world is catching onto that vibe too. That star’s only going to rise when folks listen to “Backyard Lovers,” the latest single from the forthcoming Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild LP. Through this song, the absolute vocal control is stunning, particularly the way the voice can rise up to match the force, yet pull it right back to suck you into the intimate experience between artists and listener. But, there’s definitely plenty of force, with Merce letting loose a powerful “you fucking liar” before lighting up the speakers with a ripping guitar solo that jams the song to a close. Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild will win you over when it drops on September 27th via Darling Records.
