Clean Indie Rock From City Calm Down

City Calm Down are an act from Melbourne, Australia, who are just about to embark on their trip to indie rock stardom with their debut album, In A Restless House, which is set to be released September 11th.  Now, City Calm Down have an interesting sound to them: the indie rock instrumentation reminds me of the eighties, especially in the way that the guitar riffs match the vocals note for note during the chorus. This song “Rabbit Run” is a nice little mix of new with old influences, and you should take a listen.
