Bouncy Pop From The Edward Furlongs

The Edward Furlongs are a New Jersey based group that are focused on crafting indie pop tunes that are a meld of both old and new sounds. The track that I have for you today is called “Cold Car,” and when you take a listen, you’ll see just what the band means by a mix of old and new. There’s classic elements like acoustic guitar and horns, but there’s alsodrone-like synth and drum machine-esque percussion. The vocals are reminiscent of that you’d encounter on a Dirty Projectors track and push the track into a whole new direction. Take a listen and hear for yourself.
