Today, we’ve got the newest single, a meditation on the state of labor, for both the worker and the labor itself, all of it circling into this monotonous oblivion. While the lyrical content details the cycle of continuous work for the sake of work, it’s supported by this incredible synth setting. At times, there’s this uplifting nature and pure nod to post-disco new wave, but on the other side, it feels open, sort of letting the song run its course, into oblivion.
