7ebra Release Normal Song

It hasn’t been too long since 7ebra released their Bird Hour LP, followed by several great sets in America during SXSW in 2023. Today, they return with the A-side to their new Normal Song/Daybreak 7″ for PNK SLM. You enter this track via a synthetic wash working beneath a dangling guitar note; then handclaps sound and that groove gets replaced by a bob-and-weave bass line and Inez’s vocals. But, it’s not just the bass working to give you a rhythmic pulse, as they employ a sampled beat that elevates the song giving it instant pop sensibility that eventually unfurls into this buzz that gives the song this rapturous joy that you won’t be able to escape.
