While going through the emails and such, I came across this Grace Vonderkuhn tune, instantly leaving me wondering why I had missed the track. It’s got this carefree rock instinct to it that instantly let me loose upon the world; it was like a cleanser, washing the trends and hype and my sins away. Ripping right through the speakers, you’ll get the same gratification as a listener, but don’t get hung up on the punkish nature, as they breakdown into a more metal moment seconds later, then cleverly jam it all out to the end. Grace Koon’s vocals come across as animalistic here, not quite growling but not quite human. Excited to hear more about their new record, Into the Morning, coming out later this year.
