Stop me if you’ve heard this before… But boy do I get tired of the “Austin’s music scene is dead” narrative which continually comes up in this town. It’s not dead. Things change. Evolve. I say this to tell those naysayers to keep their eyes and ears open, and to check out this new slayer called “Want the World” from Austin’s own Mugger. The group features some of the major players in our thriving scene, featuring members from both TV’s Daniel and The Well, plus a myriad of other local groups.
