Night Teacher Share World to Close + Drop Year of the Snake

Mondays are great for reflection, and in that spirit, I’m circling back to some old emails and releases like the recent LP from Night Teacher. I’ll admit, the single below is good, but it avoids immediacy, begging you to follow singer Lilly Bechtel’s vocal moves, calling to you like some sort of folk siren, waiting to smash your ship to pieces. That eruption does jump in, beautifully executed at the 1:29 mark where it bursts forth which such force that I immediately opened up the old laptop to start writing.
