Swash Announce Powers of Ten

One of my favorite labels, Hidden Bay Records, is hitting it hard at the start of the year, with acts like Special Friend already scheduled for a new release, and now there’s the news of Swash putting out an album too! The Danish outfit are brandishing a solid blend of alt rock, exuberantly loud when they crash into the chorus, and tightly wound as the guitars wriggle through the verses. Those verses are done just right, leaving room for the steadied pop of the vocals work its way into the picture, contrasting the band’s noisier moments with a little bit of honey for your ears. Powers of Ten is out on April 17th.
