If the world were short of catchy hooks, I’d turn to Matt Addison and Mythical Motors to solve the world’s problems. On the latest single from his forthcoming LP we find him flirting with a bit of power-pop, subtly whipping in some sort of doo-wop harmonies into the vocal mix; it sets the song up with just the right amount of contrast, and the sated moment in the middle of the song just has you licking your lips with anticipation of that sugar high the group create.
