Above Me Share Monolith Single
A few weeks back we shared the news that Above Me would be delivering a new album on May 1st, and with that, we shared a sort of beat-driven blend mixture of noise rock. Today, their latest single feels more like a mixture of bending guitar ambiance and traditional fuzz pop brands perfected by acts like Teenage Fanclub. The distortion work definitely plays into the present shoegaze realm, but the central softness does seem more akin to the forefathers of the sound, guaranteeing a heavy dosage of pop affection in the mixture. The band will deliver their debut LP, Soften the Blows on May 1st via Dandy Boy Records.
